Chapter 74. Seeking Freedom

Ian’s POV

I had just come back from my run in the woods. I changed back to my human form before walking into the living room.

My senses couldn’t pick up Liana scent from anywhere in the house and I glanced at the clock to see that it was past 1 in the morning. I turned to Jenkins with raised eyebrows. “Is she not back yet?”

“Not yet,” he replied with a slight bow. “I’ll call her driver.”

My tongue poked my cheek in annoyance as I made my way upstairs. I went to the bathroom to take my bath before heading to Liana’s room, hoping she would be back.

The room was empty when I got there, so I laid on her bed, tossing and turning as I waited for her to come back. Since our last night together, I had been sleeping in her room because my wolf always becomes restless when I sleep in my room and I end up staying away all night.
