Chapter 131. The Truth

I was five minutes away from the Fletcher mansion when I saw one of Dean’s cars fly past mine on the opposite lane.

I frowned, looking in the side mirror as the car sped away.

Dean rarely used that car, and where could he be headed so late at night?

I was still driving toward the mansion when I felt a nudge to check the tracker on my phone. I stared at the green dot, moving, and when I zoomed in, I saw Olivia was two minutes away from me.

That was when I realized it was Olivia who had been in that car.

My tires screeched as I turned my car around despite being on a one-way road. The clock on my dashboard showed that it was 2:00 am, so where could she be headed, at such high speed?

The dream I had about her crossed my mind, and goosebumps covered my skin even as I shook my arms. What grown man freaked out because of a silly dream?

My car sped fast till it was almost running beside hers, separated only by the road demarcation.
