Chapter 170. The Surprise

I gently settled back in my seat again, although I would have preferred to just slump against it. 

My heart was racing, hardly believing I had just done that. 

That was the most difficult thing I had ever done in my life, and I could never look Leonardo in the face again. Colt was such a cruel man.

“Really?” I murmured under my breath as everyone clapped and clapped at the end of the presentation, “The best revolutions are best shared?”

I glanced at Colt, and he had that bored look, relaxed against his seat, the same look he had the whole time as he fulfilled his weeks-long threat of finger-fucking me in a board meeting.

But he smiled now, murmuring back. “The best revolutions are best shared. Your husband would agree.”
