Chapter 260. Helpless

“Colt!” 

I jumped away from the door, slipped and landed hard on my butt. Thud! The axe struck a hole in the wooden door, missing me yet again.

As he struggled to wrench the axe free, I jumped to my feet, screaming for help at the top of my lungs, as I dashed for my gun.

Heavy footfalls, right behind me. 

Another swing, and my life flashed before my eyes. He would kill me this time. That thing would cut me in half when it lands on my back. 

Sideways twist, horrified shriek, and he went tumbling forward past me, losing balance at such a sudden change of movement. 

The door burst open finally, Torrin lunged for him, swinging a punch. Colt returned a hook as their bodies thudded to the floor. 

They fought like animals on the floor, a chilling sight. 

“Get the damn axe away!” Torrin yelled, as Colt tore at him, struggling to get out of his grip.
