Chapter 98. A Difficult Choice

Dean’s eyes looked nothing human. 

“You have no idea the implications of what you just did, Olivia. You’re my bitch now,” he said. 

He started to move closer, and I raised my gun from his chest area to his head.

He froze, then gave me that devil smile, looking like Joker himself.

“I have something that will interest you,” he said, and I felt a sudden power shift in this game we were playing.

I had no idea what he planned to show me, but perhaps it was the way he said it, or the way his body, which had been tense this whole time, relaxed.

But I was becoming increasingly aware of a power shift. 

He raised an eyebrow, and I gave a small nod. 

If he made any sudden stupid moves, I would be too happy for the excuse to blast his head off.

He walked towards the small desk set up in our bedroom, his hands in sight the whole time, and returned with a book.
