The tension in the air was thick as I rested my elbows on the chair and listened carefully to the second request of the managing director.
“We can provide a price reduction, sir,” he pushed a gleaming printout across the table. “If we can drop the price by five percent and lower it below Yamashita Tech, then we will have a strong prospect.”
I didn’t even glance down. “No. That would do us no good at all. It only makes us seem desperate.”
Mason who was sitting opposite me shook his head at the idea. Mr. Grant, who was acting as the CEO in my absence leaned back in his chair, clearly out of ideas.
