Chapter 60

Fred's POV

We quickly sat at the table reserved for my family and very close friends. Becca still seemed uncomfortable with the whole situation. Let's say that taking into account the fact that my family had never seen me with a woman, always thinking that I had been hiding a girlfriend for millennia, and at that time I would already be married, the situation would be really unpleasant.

All the guests who passed by the table were introduced to Becca by my grandfather and my mother. They seemed really very happy, and so did she, although nervous.

“ Stay calm. "I asked quietly, holding one of his hands.

"Be yourself.”

"I can't make people love me just by being myself. I need to train for that.”
