Chapter 228. Allan's New Toy

The man frowned, looking at Eve who was surprised and confused.

"Me? Why am I here? Shouldn't I be the one asking you, Mrs Adams, why are you here?" said the man who was none other than Allan Watson as his hands were shoved into his trouser pockets.

"What? It wasn't you who was in my room early this morning, was it? Is it wrong, then, for me to ask? Is there anything you would like to discuss about my work? Even though I've already informed Mr Matthews of everything! You should be able to get all the information from him!" Eve said no less angrily and linked her hands together on her chest to stare at Allan with an annoyed look.

"What? Aren't you wrong? Take a look around you, Mrs Adams!" Allan walked over to Eve.

"What do you mean?" Eve didn't understand where Allan was going with this. Eve who was originally going to avoid Allan instead made herself meet Allan. 'I don't know what he wants to see me in the morning! Just put me in a bad morning mood!'Eve said
