Chapter 252. Stopping the Problem at the Source

Tom stood back up and put his arm around both of their shoulders so that Tom was in the middle of them.

"Bert's fault is why he offered Eve a meal when I was looking for an answer whether Eve still loves you or not! You're Eve's type! If this arsehole hadn't accidentally coughed and offered food, we would've been able to get the answer, wouldn't we?" Tom stared at the two.

"Hmm...like I should check if Mrs Adams...er, I mean Mrs Watson has been sent home yet? Excuse me, sir!" said Bert who quickly dodged and ran towards the outside of the room.

"Bert! Wait a minute! Don't go! Don't you dodge! You son of a bitch! Come here!" Allan came out after Bert who ran towards the lift.
