Chapter 258. A Threatening Letter?

Eve stepped back, backwards and her back touched the door of her daughter's room. Eve's hand trembled slightly.

The paper contained a photograph of Eve and her daughter Aleena smiling. The photo had red crosses and droplets, and was accompanied by red writing. 

Eve tried to smell her hand, which had briefly touched the writing. The smell was strong and slightly fishy.

"D-blood?" Eve tried to turn her head left and right. It was quiet.
