“I’m sure he is there. Get dressed and go with him.”
“Go where with him?”
“You’ll be picking an outfit today. Tomorrow is the engagement party. Change your wardrobe. I don’t want you looking pauper when moving with me.”
He ended the call without giving her a chance to utter another word.
