Jess found herself in a room she believed was some kind of warehouse. The air was stale, and there were piles of wood in various places that didn't seem to be in use anymore. The walls separating her were made of corrugated metal and didn't seem to reach a permanent structure. She could faintly hear the lowing of cows and goats outside. It was like she was in the middle of a garden or a forest.
She had no idea. Since she got into the car, a handkerchief was stuffed into her nose. Jess tried to resist, but she was truly powerless. She kept repeating in her heart that her fear would disappear soon, help in any form would arrive for her, and she needed to know who was behind her kidnapping.
