Chapter 63

"Mommy, do you like Uncle Adams?" Diane asked.

"What!?'' Alicia blurted out.

"Uncle Adams just told me that you two are getting married soon." 

"What?" 

"Is that why you two—"

"Don't say it!" Alicia hurriedly cut her off, then she went to Diane and crouched down.

Alicia stared at her daughter and all she could think of was how was she going to explain what just happened to her. She tried coming up with reasonable excuses to tell Diane but her head wasn't bringing out anything and she found herself apologizing to her daughter instead.

"I'm really sorry you had to see that honey, I promise it'll never happened again and I'm not getting married to Adams."

"Why not?" Diane whined, her sadness so evident in her face.

"Because he's my ex-husband whom I don't want to go back to." She mentally replied.

"I really like Uncle Adams Mommy, and It'll be wonderful if you two get married and then he'll become my Daddy." Diane giggled.<
