I saw his face turn pale instantly.
My heart raced.
Think of something, you silly!
“Were you thinking of someone else when we kissed?”
My eyes widened. “Leo… no!” I snapped immediately.
He tried to look away, but I caught his face between my palms, forcing him to look at me.
“Maybe they do it better than—”
“That’s not what I meant at all,” I cut him off.
His jaw flexed, and he swallowed hard like he was bracing for impact.

I rose on my toes, brushing my lips softly against his.
