For an hour now, I’ve ignored Leo’s calls.
Not because I didn’t see them.
But because I was sure Musa had already spoken to him, and I am ashamed of myself.
Leo hated Musa interacting with me.

When Musa called me back and told me about the note Leo left under his pillow, I was relieved—but I also felt guilty.

Acting dramatic like that—crying and talking about dying.
I wonder what he will think of me.
That I am a lot of load? A crazy one, messing with his life? With his job, with his mental health?
I sighed.
My phone vibrated again on the bed, the screen lighting up with his name.
