“I’d better hire someone for this CEO position.” I muttered the words and leaned back in my chair, dragging a deep breath into my lungs.
Afterwards, I took my phone, opened my gallery, and swiped until I found the video of Charlotte I took yesterday during her practice in my living room.
I pressed play and watched the video.
It had felt so real back then that I nearly forgot myself.
For a moment, I’d even wished I were an actor just to stand beside her.
Flashbacks rushed through my mind—especially the embarrassing moment when my smartwatch announced my skyrocketing heart rate.
A tiny smile tugged at my lips.
