Chapter 101. The Pen

Everything Zachili just said makes sense. It’s the part about the pen that confuses me. Is it an actual pen or is it another object that bears ‘The Pen’?

“What do you mean by resetting the pen?” I ask.

“To remove the identity of the previous commander and input the one of a new commander, I believe. I have not found out much about it. I do know there must be something binding the pen to its commander, and that thing channels a command to the Shadow Legends when one is given.”

“So…anyone can be in charge of the pen?”

“So far, no idea. The person I discovered who used it was Aurelio. No other person has used The Pen before him.”

“If that’s the case, I’m hoping you don’t think Christopher is the commander, do you?”
