Darius’s POV

It felt surreal. I was going to be a father. Although it’s been months since the discovery, the bliss I felt after the initial shock has lingered. I never thought I would be this excited about having children. Every day, I looked forward to the day it would become a reality.

Everything was perfect except for what this pregnancy was doing to her body. I stared at her barely recognizable figure, gulping down a bottle of blood. Her stomach was ten times larger than it used to be.

According to Elle, even larger than a normal pregnancy bump should be. So yes, there’s more than one baby in there.

My feelings about that revelation were on the fence. On the one hand, I was excited. On the other hand, it tore me apart to see what it was doing to her. She was feeding at a monstrous rate and would go on a blind rage if not fed. Many times, we’ve had to go through a great deal to stop her from going on a rampage.
