“I don’t think it is appropriate for us to infect innocent humans because we want to increase our army,” Lycanthropos said to the Dean, who showed him the cell where he’d been artificially infecting people.
It was his and Dr. Steven’s idea to capture people living around Boston and infect them with an artificial strain of the virus, which caused them to become werewolves. Still, they had never been released from the cells because the Dean thought it would impress Lycanthropos to know that his army was expanding even in his absence.
“But I thought you would be happy and impressed to know that….”
“I’m not,” Lycanthropos interrupted the Dean. “Don’t you see? What’s so good about hurting people? What’s interesting about not being human?”
The death of Gabriel had left a very gaping scar in Lycanthropos’s heart, and he couldn’t help but blame himself for the event.
