Is it not interesting that an upcoming second or minute is regarded as the future and it crawls its butt slowly before sinking irretrievably into the past. While future events cannot be predicted with certainty, I can’t help but wonder if future events are as a result of the present efforts to better the future or if it has been pre-determined by the creator to be.
Looking at Cass, I could tell he was a little apprehensive, but that is the most natural of emotions when we see and feel something or someone that had the potential of bringing wonder into our lives. What’s more? The emotion was mirrored in my soul. This was a real moment, significant, and potent.
The carriage galloped along the sloppy road till we were neared a cave where the coachman announced that that was the end of the trip and wished us success in our endeavors. We alighted from the carriage and watched as our only means of transportation disappeared from our sight.
