Elena’s POV
At the delicate crack of the moonlight, a change had begun from within. I converted my physical pain into miles of running through God knows where but my instinct guarded me through while every fore and hindsight blurred as I scaled through.
The wolves had started howling and it felt like an invitation to my rightful place. It has become a fit or surrender and I was born with a warrior spirit so I ran with my wooly tail wagging behind. My hands and legs had become paws although my forepaws were larger than my hind paws.
I glided through the wet grass in the woods and howled alongside the other wolves in the bayou without taking a break. It was the way my spirit chose to fly, to weave itself into the uplifting new phase of my life. Being a werewolf and the inner serenity I felt could not be overemphasized.
