Chapter 54. Can You At Least Help With an Item of Clothing

Elena’s POV

My side view caught an antelope lurking far into the woods, it tried to hide from plain sight due to the horror unleashed on animals by the wolves but its giant horns stood out. I could sniff the scent of its warm blood and could smell the fear as it cowered. There was something about it that piqued my interest, although I couldn’t specify if it was my thirst for blood or my wolf instinct that enjoys feeding off the fear of others, or if it had to be the full moon unleashing my cannibalistic side but I broke into a sprint and raced after the animal. Survival instinct kicked in and it ran through the misty fog to escape from me. My eyesight had become a lot more sharper and my hearing could pick the sound of a needle dropping in a lousy nightclub. Euphoria snapped inside of me as I traced the animal in a zig-zag motion, taking giant leaps, and ferociously thundering my paws on the muddy soil. The clapping of thunder heightened my motivation and not even the slightes
