“I happen to be traveling the world,” Pierre announced. “What is a vampire doing in the middle of the desert?”
“I came to check up on your strange movements. Cairo, of all places?”
“What’s wrong with Cairo, and how did you find me? I’m interested in the history of Egypt from reading books about it.”
“Sure. I’ll believe you for now,” Antoine replied. “Where’s your tent?”
“I was just going to the bathroom….”
“Go on.”
“Will you still be here when I get back?”
