Easton attempted to touch my cheek, but I smacked his hand away, causing him to heave a heavy sigh and brushed his fingers over his hair in disappointment. ''I'm sorry, okay? She was sunbathing when she noticed me preparing something and I said it's for you. I couldn't just shoo her away, baby... You know I'm not that kind of guy. And by the way, she only said hi...''

Hi? She was rubbing her body against his, and it was only a 'hi' for him?

I decided to brush it away. I don't want to argue with him anymore.

''You prepared something for me?'' I asked instead, changing the topic about that girl. My pupils dilated in surprise… and shortly after, I became aware of the gurgling sound emanating from my stomach.

''My baby is already hungry...'' he muttered as he jumped out of bed and grabbed the tray of food that was sitting on top of the desk.
