''Are you going to spend the whole night just sitting there in the car?'' I heard a chuckle from beside me.

I slowly turned my head to see Easton standing outside the car, staring at me with his hands folded over his chest as he waited for me to exit his car.

I was unaware that we were currently parked in front of his house and that the door to the car was already propped open for me to exit it.

''Chloe, please… come inside. I'm not going to bite you or do anything without your consent, I promise…''
