“What did you do to make Hunter agree?” I asked, this time around my voice was in a high pitch. The thought of him threatening Hunter sent my heart into flames of anger. He went white.

“Mom!” Both of them kept silent.

“This cannot be possible,” I uttered, making my way to the door, ignoring their calls.
