Chapter 16. A Revelation

Evelyn’s POV

I looked down at the floor and wondered how I could find the words to tell my brother that my son had healing powers. And about my ex-boyfriend wanting to snatch Ethan away. He knew more than I did. I knew that I had done the right thing to leave Griffin but at the same time being near Nolan again was driving me crazy. Why could I not stop thinking about him?

“Nolan should know about Ethan.” Harper intruded on my thoughts, and I sighed. I was frightened that he would take Ethan from me and hate me for keeping him away all this time.

“But what if he hurts us all over again? It’s not just about us anymore, Harper. We have our pup to worry about. What if Nolan takes him away from us? I can’t bear to lose my boy. He’s everything!”
