Chapter 53. To the City We Go!

Nolan’s POV

“We cannot allow that cretin to get away with this.” I narrowed my eyes and felt a simmering rage bubbling throughout my veins. Tristan mirrored my anger, and I tried to push thoughts of Evelyn pleading to stay with me out of my mind. I should have kept her beside me; I shook my head and growled.

“Of course, Alpha. What do you suggest as our next move?” One of my warriors approached me, and they all waited for my response. I held my breath and thought for a moment. If Griffin had gone to the city with Ethan, did he have someone inside helping him?

“Get a car. We need as many as we can to search for him. He thinks he is clever but will soon discover how stupid he is!” I hissed and spat on the ground as I returned towards my pack.

“Yes, Alpha Nolan, I am on it.” With that, he hurried off to carry out my order. The city was a prominent place, somewhere that I dreaded but knew was necessary.
