Sofia's POV

“He’s cheating on me with you, isn’t he?” she blamed me.

Who was this mad woman? I was shocked by her sudden outburst.

“I’m afraid you have the wrong person.” I tried to walk past her, but she blocked my path.

“No… I saw you two not long ago having lunch in the cafeteria.”

“What?”

Then it dawned on me. I had lunch with Carlito. I burst out laughing. She seemed perplexed when she saw my response. I decided to end the poor girl’s suffering.

“I am Carlito’s sister.”

“You’re his sister?” she whispered.

“Yeah, so whatever you have in your mind, please do not say it.”

She turned red with embarrassment. “I didn’t know. It’s just you’re so beautiful, and we fought a lot these past weeks. Seeing you with him kind of just set me off.”

“It’s fine. Actually, I’m happy you’re keeping him on his toes. He was here for you, wasn’t he?”
