Sofia's POV

I frowned when I noticed that Steel did not come out of the restroom yet. I stood up and went to search for him. I walked into the lounge and heard the voice of the person I did not want to talk to.

I was about to turn around and walk away when the person he was talking to spoke up. How come Steel was so close to Abram? I ran over to them.

“What’s going on here?” I asked before I had even entered their room.

I froze when I saw Steel holding a gun. What the fuck was this old man thinking?

“Mama, look…”

I walked to them, clenching my fist. “Dedushka (Grandfather), give me a gun.” I snatched it out of his hands and handed it back to Abram.

“Go to the back and finish eating your food. I’ll be right there.” I took a deep breath and turned to Steel. He brushed off my actions and walked away.

“Stop playing games with my son,” I yelled while facing Abram.

“What do you mean, daughter-in-law?” he inqui
