Sofia's POV

“How was school, champion?” Sterling asked Steel as we sat down for dinner.

“It was great. I made a new friend today. Her name is Carol.”

“Carol? Is she attractive?” Sterling asked, amused.

Steel wrinkled his nose, making Sterling laugh. Steel continued to tell Sterling about his school day.

After supper, we watched a movie while Sterling put Steel to bed. He returned to the living room, where we briefly continued the movie in silence. Sterling’s hand started wandering around me.

“What are you doing?”

He placed pecks up my arm till he reached my jaw.

“You don’t get to tease me like you did in the office and just walk away. I had to walk around all day with a hard-on. If Steel hadn’t been here, I would have taken you against the closest surface I could find.”

He turned my face towards him and kissed me.

“Steel might walk in at any time,” I said between gasps for breath.
