Chapter 14

Sofia's POV

“Steel, where are you?”

He was hiding in the closet. I was so tense after the kiss that I hurriedly left the room. When I opened Steel’s closet, he was sitting inside.

“What are you doing here? Let’s get you showered so we can have breakfast.”

“No.” He crossed his arms in front of him.

“What’s the matter?”

“I want to go out.” He pouted his lips and crossed his arms in front of him as he twisted his head to the other side. He was too adorable to be taken seriously.

“I know, but your dad will be busy. How about you and I go out?”

It appeared that he was doing some calculations, and at last, he emerged from the closet. I helped him brush his teeth, and he showered. After I put him in clean clothes, we walked out of his bedroom and headed to the kitchen.

Sterling was already there, sipping his coffee. He was ready to go out, but when he saw us, he stared at us for a moment before continuing his breakfast.
