Sofia’s POV

After that entertaining moment with Sterling, I left him and Steel to bond over training and I went to visit my brother. I wanted to talk to him about something for a while but I had been putting it off. After arguing with Sterling he gave in and let Danny escort me. For some reason, he didn’t want to let me out of his sight. When I finally arrived at Carlito’s new place the last thing I was expecting was a swarm of his men.

“What’s going on?” I asked as I reached him.

He looked up. His eyes were bloodshot red. Like he didn’t sleep for days.

“Someone has been attacking my warehouses and shipments.” His voice sounded as tired as he looked.

“Every time I get close to finding them they make another move and send me back in more loss.” He answered and combed his fingers through his hair as he let out an exasperated breath.
