I hold back a growl as her dazed eyes stare up at me in confusion. “Sweetheart, we need to get a doctor’s appointment and see if we can do these things. I will speak to the medical director of Kings Hospital and register you for antenatal care.”

“I don’t know about going to Kings Hospital. The news will spread, and I—”

“I need you to get the best care, sweetheart. And nothing is going to get out.” I assured her.

She nods before looking away, deep in thought, and I decide to push my luck. “You should move back with the kids, sweetheart.”

“What?”

I sigh before reaching to hold her hands in mine. “It’s the best option for all of us.”

“Ethan, if you think I am going to move in with you because I am carrying your child, you have a fucking long way to go!” She hisses and yanks her hands from my hold before storming out of the bedroom. I quickly followed behind her. “Babe, just hear me out.”
