Avery’s POV

Ethan turns me to face him, his expression apologetic as he wipes my face. “Sweetheart, I am sorry if I made you sad. I am just being mindful because of our baby.”

“Really?”

“I only have eyes for you, kitten.” He grins and strokes my arm affectionately with his thumb. “Why do you think I picked out a gown for you?”

My brows knit in confusion. “Is there a reason?”

“Easy access, kitten.”
