Chapter 127. Reconciliation
Ethan’s POV
“Ethan,” she breathes, and tears fall from her eyes as she faces Estella. “Estella. My babies.” She cried, stepping forward to embrace us. I sidestepped her, and she ends up only hugging Estella.
“I am sorry.” She repeats the word as she slowly pats Estella’s back. When they break the hug, Estella’s eyes are red with tears.
She pushed the door wider and smiled. “Please come in.”
I reluctantly follow behind them into the house. The inside is tight-spaced but has a nice and homely touch to it with simple handmade decor pieces.
She and Estella settle on a brown leather couch together. A frown appears on my face at Estella’s sudden closeness with her. Did Estella quickly forget everything we went through because of this woman?
“Ethan, please sit.”
“Sit? Are we close enough to sit and talk about anything?” I spat out, not bothering to hide my hatred.
“Ethan!” Estella exclaims. “Can you please listen to what she has to say
