Avery’s POV

“Yes madam.” The doctor concurs, agreeing with Camilla. “I will have a nurse bring you a wheelchair. You were sedated and might not be able to move around on your own without feeling dizzy.”

I nodded. “Okay.”

The doctor gave a small bow before walking out of the VIP ward. Almost immediately, a nurse wearing a polite smile on her face arrived with a wheelchair.

“I will take you to your husband, ma’am.” She said in a soft tone. “Let’s get you on the wheelchair first.”

With the nurse’s and Camilla’s help, I sit on the wheelchair, my mind reeling in amazement at how dizzy I felt when I tried to stand on my own.

Estella joins us, and the nurse wheels me out of the VIP ward, and we take an elevator to the fifth floor, where the VIP ICU is located. The door is guarded by two of Ethan’s men, and they give a polite bow when they see us. However, I am too distracted by my thoughts to respond to them.
