Avery’s POV

I sighed. “I was not expecting a ceremony like this, so…”

“So you don’t have a dress right now?”

I nodded. “Yes, the one I wore earlier still has the smell of food in it.” I felt a wave of exhaustion creep up my spine. Should I just give up and sleep?
