Nina’s POV

“My father is fucking my best friend, Elders,” I announced, my voice echd through the room like a thunderstorm about to break.

When I woke up this morning, only one thought lingered in my mind. War. Destruction.

My father has declared a war and I will fight it with every bit of me. He humiliated me, hit me and even chose that whore over me. That whore… that useless stupid bitch that I fed and she dared bite the fingers that fed her.

No… I won’t let him walk all over me, the same way he did to my mom. I will show him that I might be my mother’s daughter but I’m definitely stronger, wiser and not some pushover. Yes… I refused to be a pushover.
