Zevara’s POV

God knows I tried to stay calm. I tried to respect my friend’s wish and keep my promise to her but I couldn’t. At intervals, my heart beat rapidly as I kept wondering why she took my clothes and asked me to stay back.

But the most disturbing part that I don’t want to agree to, is the fact that Talon might eventually fuck Nina. A pang of jealousy hits me at the gut-wenching thoughts.

My wolf was restless inside me as I paced around my room. He was supposed to be mine, I told myself. He loves me, he wants me and he is not supposed to be fucking another.

And here I was standing in front of the high end bar with the signage “Moonlight Lounge” praying that Nina dsn’t see me. Not like I was afraid of her but because it felt like I had betrayed the bond of our friendship.
