Talon’s POV

As we practiced ice hockey, my gaze was fixed on the arena where the cheerleading team stood, waving their poms-poms. Neither Nina nor Zevara was there and it had me sick and worried. Why are they not both in school? Of course.. I don’t give a damn about Nina but seeing as they are not both here, I’m worried something bad might have happened to Zevara.

Maybe Nina found out about us and harmed her? She couldn’t have done that right? But given how she drugged me… there was nothing she can’t do; she was too desperate.

Of course, I knew she drugged me. I met with the bartender from last night this morning after Zevara left. At first, he denied it but by the time I punched me twice and threatened to ruin his family, he spilled out the entire truth. I was just waiting for her to show up here before I confront her.
