It feels so good to just relax in Cassian’s arms again. I snuggle up to his chest, where I can hear his heartbeat.

After a few minutes, he pulls me up to him again, and our lips meet. He tastes so wonderful, and his scent of pine and musk envelops me, and my core starts to awaken again, warm and ready.
