Chapter 17. What Is This Feeling?

I suppose I’d describe myself as getting dizzy in the Alpha King’s arms, but not in a way I’ve ever felt before. It feels… exhilarating, like simply the touch of his hand is awakening every nerve inside me.

My head buzzeswith this tingling feeling all over, and it is pure pleasure that runs down my spine and straight to my core.

I’ve never had this reaction to a man’s touch before, and I’ve danced with nearly everyone in my father’s court in just the past year.

This is different.

Everything is different, like all my senses are experiencing something for the first time. His scent, which I remember enjoying before, is even more intense, and I wonder whether he’s added more cologne for the dinner, though I didn’t notice it this much when he first walked into the dining hall.
