Chapter 10

Crystina’s POV 

I kept grinning from ear to ear as I walked back home in the evening. After what Nico had told me, I was excited and happy that my feelings for Nico wasn't one-sided. If I had to choose, I would’ve preferred the goddess making Nico my mate and not Luka. Nico is amazing, cool, and kind but Luka was the opposite, hot-headed, evil, and possessive. 

Every time I remember that he’s a part of my life, I get scared for my future but with Nico, everything seems fine. I feel happy whenever I hear his voice or our finger brushes against each other and my heart races whenever he smiles at me. With Luka, the opposite is the case one more time. I’m never happy to be with him, and I hate the fact that there’s nothing I can do about it.
