LUKA’S POV 

All I had towards Crystina were good intentions; I didn’t plan on making her cry or sad, but when I saw her holding that bottle, something shifted in me that I didn’t like. I tried to control it until we were in a closed space, and I could smell that boy all over her. That drove me insane. Why was he giving her a bottle of medicine anyway? She wasn’t even sick. That boy must be trying so hard to make me look bad, and I hate that.

When I drove out of the school, I had only planned to pick her up and take her home, but when I saw her waiting outside of the school gate and checking her wristwatch, I knew something was up. I didn’t plan on killing her friend, Paige, by the way; the incident was a mistake.
