Luka's POV

The next morning after breakfast, I got a call from my Beta, Baba, because of an emergency. It's been up to three days since I left the responsibility of the pack on his shoulder and told him to only call me when there was an emergency. Knowing he had a family of his own and would probably love to spend time with that, I had to explain to him what happened between Crystina and the baby and how I would also relieve him of his duties when I fully resume. He agreed earnestly and told me not to worry about anything. Even though he waved away the idea of getting a break, I still believe he deserves it.
