Luka's POV
"Sometimes I wished they were dead. I prayed I would wake up one morning and my parents were fucking DEAD,"
I stared at my best friend in disbelief. We've always had so many heart-to-heart talks, and serious conversations but he made it seem as if his mental health was perfect. Every day I bombarded him with complaints of my own not knowing he was going through stuff as well.
"I wouldn't ask you about what happened because even if you tell me I might not understand but I know your pain. Look at me, I had parents one day, and then, the next they were gone. So, trust me, I know your anger,"
"Your parents were cool when they were alive but mine, they don't give a care, Luka," he closed his eyes, already done with the conversation.
I stood up, walked over to my desk, and gave my parent's picture which was in a small frame a glance. For real, my parents were the best people in my life when they were still alive. They weren't perfect but they loved
