“Wow!” Chelsey exclaimed in admiration as she saw Briella descending the stairs. “You’re stunningly gorgeous, Briella!”

Briella smiled and approached her. “You’re also beautiful, Chelsey. I noticed a sudden glow on you, are you in love?” she teasingly asked.

“H-Huh?” Chelsey responded in surprise, but she couldn’t hide the blush on her cheeks. “I-I’ve always been beautiful and glowing, you just haven’t noticed because you’re too busy with your problems,” she explained.

“Whatever,” Briella chuckled. She didn’t argue further because she knew she wouldn’t get a response from her friend.

Chelsey was in a state of denial about her true feelings. Briella couldn’t blame her because, like her, Chelsey had also gone through difficult times.

“Shall we go?” Chelsey asked her.
