Penelope snapped back to reality and reminded herself of the reason she was there. The secretary approached Warren in the hall and whispered, "Mr. Duncan, everything is ready."

"Okay," Warren replied and started looking around the hall for Penelope.

He hadn't formally introduced Penelope to the others earlier; he had been waiting for this moment.

"Where is she?" Warren walked a few steps forward and scanned the room.

"She's not in the hall. Maybe she's in the lounge," the secretary suggested.

Warren picked up his pace and started searching for Penelope in the lounge.
