Chapter 85. Bar Shenanigans

The sound of glass mugs smashing against each other and the voices of Desmond’s soldiers as they cheered happily to celebrate their victory against the Helionite soldiers echoed throughout the city of Helios.

The Valtorian soldiers were gathered at a large bar on the outskirts of the city. The smell that permeated every corner of the bar was a mixture of the hearty burps of the soldiers, the intoxicating smell of the alcohol, and the savory aroma from the meals that were being served in the bar. Candle lanterns hung from the wooden ceiling all around the bar, illuminating the place to a level that made it seem like it was day.
